What we collect and why.

This site is operated by Maryam Abbasnejad, Broker, of Century 21 Heritage Group Ltd., Brokerage. When you create a free account we store your email address, a hashed password, the date you accepted the Terms of Use and a record of the sold and leased data you view, because the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board requires an audit trail for its Virtual Office Website rules. We keep that record for 180 days after your account closes and no longer.

Subscriptions to the Daily Brief, the Quiet List and Sold Radar use the email or mobile number you give us, only for that list, only with your express consent, and every message carries a one-tap unsubscribe. We do not sell, rent or share lists with anyone.

Your Home DNA and activity

The Home DNA questionnaire (budget, down payment, areas, home type, rooms, priorities, commute destination, timeline, must-haves and, if you choose, household income and monthly payments) is stored in your browser on this device. Nothing is sent to us until you create a free profile or ask for something by email, at which point the profile travels with that request so Maryam can answer with context. Saved homes, alerts, searches, the listings you open, your roadmap stage and the address you enter in the home value tool are kept the same way. You can edit or delete the profile at any time from the Saved homes page, and deleting it removes it from this device immediately and from our records on request.

Consent for email

Marketing email (new listings, price updates, market information, the weekly update) is sent only when you tick the consent box, and we keep a record of the wording, the date and time, the page and the network address for each consent, as Canada's anti-spam law requires. Alerts you set yourself are transactional messages about the alert you asked for. Every email identifies Maryam Abbasnejad, Broker, Century 21 Heritage Group Ltd., Brokerage, 17035 Yonge St, Newmarket, ON L3Y 5Y1, and carries a working unsubscribe link that takes effect within ten business days, usually at once. Requests for a call (showings, valuations, offer help, consultations) use your phone number for that request only.
